    One More Night in Philly

    Publicado por MelXHottie

I decided not to rush off again today. Traveling constantly is exciting, but staying an extra night lets a place breathe a little. I wandered without checking maps too often, found a small bookstore, grabbed lunch at a place I never would have planned to visit, and ended the evening surrounded by football fans celebrating another unforgettable day. Sometimes the best travel decision is simply staying put.

    Match Day Atmosphere

    Publicado por MelXHottie

Today wasn't really about the game for me—it was about everything happening around it. Streets full of supporters, cafés packed hours before kickoff, music playing from every corner. Watching thousands of people celebrate the same event, even if they're cheering for different teams, reminds me why I love traveling. The match lasts ninety minutes, but the atmosphere takes over the entire city for the whole day.

    Another Day in the Bay

    Publicado por MelXHottie

I'm glad I stayed an extra day instead of rushing to the next city. There's something nice about slowing down even when you're travelling. This morning started with coffee, then a long walk around the waterfront, and later the streets slowly filled with fans again. Everyone seems to be smiling at strangers, swapping predictions, or taking photos together. Big sporting events have a way of making people forget they're strangers for a little while.

    Santa Clara, California

    Publicado por MelXHottie

I landed in the Bay Area this morning, and you could immediately tell something big was happening. Airports, trains, coffee shops—everywhere I looked there were jerseys, scarves, and people speaking different languages. Even if you're not heading to the match itself, the excitement is impossible to miss. I spent the afternoon wandering around before sunset, soaking up the atmosphere. It's funny how football can make an entire city feel like it's hosting one giant reunion.

    Packing for the Next Adventure

    Publicado por MelXHottie

I've spent the afternoon with an open suitcase on the floor, trying to decide what actually deserves a spot inside. The next couple of weeks will look a little different. Instead of staying in one city, I'll be following the World Cup across the U.S., seeing new places through the energy that only an event like this can bring. I'm looking forward to the stadiums, but even more to the cafés, neighborhoods, and random conversations that happen between matches. Those are usually the moments I remember most.

    Wynwood Again

    Publicado por MelXHottie

I ended up back in Wynwood this evening without really planning to. The light was doing that thing it does right before sunset, turning every mural a little softer and every color a little warmer. I wandered with no destination, stopping whenever something caught my eye. Miami feels different when you stop trying to fit everything into a schedule. Some of my favorite moments here have happened when I wasn't looking for anything at all.

Miami Mornings Hit Different - Already Forgot What

    Publicado por MelXHottie

Touched down yesterday, woke up to ocean breeze and that warm pink light that only exists here. Walked to a little café down the block, ordered a cortadito in my best broken Spanish, sat outside and watched the city slowly wake up. There's something about Miami that resets you - the pace, the humidity, the way everyone moves a little slower until the music starts. Here through next weekend and absolutely not in a hurry to leave :)

    Wynwood Before Sundown

    Publicado por MelXHottie

People talk about Wynwood for the nightlife. I love it for the hour before. There's a window - maybe between six and seven - when the murals look painted in honey and the streets are emptier than they appear on Instagram. I'll walk between the warehouses with no fixed plan, stop at one of the smaller galleries, sometimes end up at a bookstore whose name I keep meaning to remember. It's the most photogenic city in America when you catch it right, and the trick is just to slow down.
